NOV 28th "GURUVAYUR EKADASI" AND GEETA JAYANTHI
"EKADASI" is a highly auspicious day dedicated to Lord Vishnu on the eleventh day of every lunar fortnight in traditional Hindu calendar. There are 24 Ekadasis in a year and the Vrishchika Ekadasi (Suklapaksha) has got special significance in Guruvayur. Ekadashi that falls in the waxing phase of moon in the Malayalam month Vrishchikam (November – December) is observed as" Guruvayur Ekadasi" in the world famous Guruvayoor Sri Krishna Temple in Kerala – the abode of Guruvayurappan.
Gita Jayanti, also referred as Bhagawad Geetha Jayanthi, is the day when the Bhagvad Gita was rendered by Lord Krishna to Arjuna in the Kurukshetra on the first day of the famous 18-day battle in the Mahabharata. Gita Jayanthi falls on the Ekadashi day of Shukla Paksha (the bright half) of the Margashirsha month (November-December) in traditional Hindi calendar. In 2009, the date of Gita Jayanti is on November 28.
Bhagvad Gita is the compilation of the teachings of Lord Krishna. This Bhagvad Geeta (Song of the Blessed Lord) contains profound ideas on many issues touching on the temporal and non-temporal aspects of life.
The greatness of Bhagavad Gita that no other scriptures in this universe can match is her teachings of acquiring the way towards the Supreme without abandoning the worldly affairs, through the methods of Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga and Bhakti Yoga.
The greatest quality of Bhagavad Gita is that it prompts you to think, it prompts you to take decision, and it prompts you to look at life differently and refreshingly and all this without surrendering your individuality.
Lord Krishna lived his life by his own famous saying, which can be translated in English, as "Thy right is to work only, but never with its fruits;let not the fruits of action be thy motive, nor let thy attachment be to inaction.
" The Gita Mahatmya mentions manifold benefits for those who chant the sacred verses of the Bhagavad Gita. Lord Sri Krishna himself has give numerous assurances to his devotees in the Gita that his devotees will never perish or come to harm.
The ideal way to celebrate Gita Jayanti is by reading at least a stanza from the Bhagavad Gita.
So do Complete Surrender to God, as in this way you shall be free of all tensions of life & shall be at peace & be happy during all walks of life. Below verse of Bhagwat Gita teaches the same.
““sarva-dharman parityajyamam
ekam saranam vraja
aham tvam sarva-papebhyo
mokshayisyami ma suchah"(Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Eighteen verse 66).
"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, Surrender unto Me alone. By surrendering all duties to Me, seek refuge in Me. I shall absolve you of all sins; grieve not."
Be pure. Be virtuous. Be sincere. Apply yourself with firm faith and strength of will. Yield not to beguilements and threats. Move on forward with confidence and determination. You shall succeed in achieving life's Supreme Goal. The Grace of the Almighty is ever with you.
Peace be to you all! May the mighty Grace of Lord Sri Krishna flow through your hearts and prepare you for the memorable regeneration in the Spiritual Consciousness!
SECRET TO TRUE LOVE, TRUE LOVE RELATIONSHIP ADVICE
I once had a friend who grew to be very close to me. Once when we were sitting at the edge of a swimming pool, she filled the palm of her hand with some water and held it before me, and said this: "You see this water carefully contained on my hand? It symbolizes Love.
"This was how I saw it: As long as you keep your hand caring-ly open and allow it to remain there, it will always be there. However, if you attempt to close your fingers round it and try to posses it, it will spill through the first cracks it finds. This is the greatest mistake that people do when they meet love... they try to posses it, they demand, they expect... and just like the water spilling out of your hand, love will retrieve from you. For love is meant to be free, you cannot change its nature. If there are people you love, allow them to be free beings.
Give and don't expect. Advise, but don't order. Ask, but never demand. It might sound simple, but it is a lesson that may take a lifetime to truly practice. It is the secret to true love. To truly practice it, you must sincerely feel no expectations from those who you love, and yet an unconditional caring.
A good companion is not like the rain, which comes and goes. It's like the air, sometimes very quite and always be with us.....
LOVE IN ACTION
One night a man came to our house and told me, “There is a family with eight children. They have not eaten for days,” I took some food and I went. When I finally came to the family, I saw the faces of those little children disfigured by hunger. There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces, just the deep pain of hunger. I gave the rice to the mother. She divided it in two, and went out, carrying half the rice with her.
When she came back, I asked her, “Where did you go?” She gave me this simple answer, “To my neighbors-they are hungry also.”I was not surprised that she gave–because poor people are generous. But I was surprised that she knew they were hungry. As a rule, when we are suffering, we are so focused on ourselves we have no time for others. –Mother Teresa.
Teach this triple truth to all: A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service and compassion are the things which renew humanity.” - BUDDHA QUOTE
THE POWER OF PRAISE
,
Years ago, a young man in London aspired to be a writer. But everything seemed to be against him. He had never been able to attend school for more than four years. His father had been flung in jail because he could not pay his debts and this young man often knew the pangs of hunger.
Finally, he got a job pasting labels on bottles of shoe polish in a rat-infested warehouse; and he slept at night in a dismal attic room with two other boys - gutter snipes from the slums of London. He had so little confidence in his ability to write that he sneaked out and mailed his first manuscript in the dead of night so nobody would laugh at him.
Story after story was refused. Finally, the great day came when one was accepted. True, he was not paid a shilling for it, but one editor had praised him. One editor had given him recognition. He was so thrilled that he wandered aimlessly around the streets with tears rolling down his cheeks.
The praise, the recognition that he received by getting one story in print, changed his whole career, for if it had not been for that encouragement, he might have spent his entire life working in rat-infested factories. His name was Charles Dickens. He rose to become one of history's greatest novelists.
Praise is powerful. Praise people and inspire them with a realization of their latent possibilities. Praise the slightest improvement and praise every improvement.

KEEP YOUR DREAM
I have a friend named Monty Roberts who owns a horse ranch in San Ysidro. He has let me use his house to put on fund-raising events to raise money for youth at risk programs. The last time I was there he introduced me by saying, “I want to tell you why I let Jack use my horse. It all goes back to a story about a young man who was the son of an itinerant horse trainer who would go from stable to stable, race track to race track, farm to farm and ranch to ranch, training horses.
As a result, the boy’s high school career was continually interrupted. When he was a senior, he was asked to write a paper about what he wanted to be and do when he grew up.“That night he wrote a seven-page paper describing his goal of someday owning a horse ranch. He wrote about his dream in great detail and he even drew a diagram of a 200-acre ranch, showing the location of all the buildings, the stables and the track.
Then he drew a detailed floor plan for a 4,000-square-foot house that would sit on a 200-acre dream ranch.“He put a great deal of his heart into the project and the next day he handed it in to his teacher. Two days later he received his paper back. On the front page was a large red F with a note that read, `See me after class.’
“The boy with the dream went to see the teacher after class and asked, `Why did I receive an F?’“The teacher said, `This is an unrealistic dream for a young boy like you. You have no money. You come from an itinerant family. You have no resources. Owning a horse ranch requires a lot of money. You have to buy the land. You have to pay for the original breeding stock and later you’ll have to pay large stud fees. There’s no way you could ever do it.’
Then the teacher added, `If you will rewrite this paper with a more realistic goal, I will reconsider your grade.’“The boy went home and thought about it long and hard. He asked his father what he should do. His father said, `Look, son, you have to make up your own mind on this. However, I think it is a very important decision for you.’
“Finally, after sitting with it for a week, the boy turned in the same paper, making no changes at all.He stated, “You can keep the F and I’ll keep my dream.”Monty then turned to the assembled group and said, “I tell you this story because you are sitting in my 4,000-square-foot house in the middle of my 200-acre horse ranch. I still have that school paper framed over the fireplace.”
He added, “The best part of the story is that two summers ago that same schoolteacher brought 30 kids to camp out on my ranch for a week.” When the teacher was leaving, he said, “Look, Monty, I can tell you this now. When I was your teacher, I was something of a dream stealer. During those years I stole a lot of kids’ dreams. Fortunately you had enough gumption not to give up on yours.
MORAL OF THE STORY:
”“Don’t let anyone steal your dreams. Follow your heart, no matter what.”
THE DESIRE TO EXCEL
ONE OF MY FAVOURITE STORY I LIKE THIS AS I ALSO FOLLOW THE SAME.
A gentleman once visited a temple under construction where he saw asculptor making an idol of God. Suddenly he noticed a similar idol lyingnearby.
Surprised, he asked the sculptor, "Do you need two statues of thesame idol?" "No," said the sculptor without looking up,"We need only one, but the first one got damaged at the laststage."
The gentleman examined the idol and found no apparent damage. "Whereis the damage?" he asked. "There is a scratch on the nose ofthe idol." said the sculptor, still busy with his work.
"Where are you going to install the idol?" The sculptor repliedthat it would be installed on a pillar twenty feet high. "If theidol is that far, who is going to know that there is a scratch on thenose?" the gentleman asked.
The sculptor stopped his work, looked up at the gentleman, smiled andsaid, "I know it and God knows it!" The desire to excel should be exclusive of the fact whether someone appreciates it or not.
"Excellence" is a drive from inside, not outside. Excel at a task today - not necessarily for someone else tonotice but for your own satisfaction!! Remember whenever we do something with consent of God and for consent of God , their is perfection in the task and satisfaction in heart . "I have felt this truth "
MORAL STORY NEVER GIVE UP
One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly.
Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
MORAL :
Life is going to shovel all kinds of mud on you. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, but by never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less from people but more from God.

FAVOURITE MONTH OF LORD SHRI KRISHNA
Margasira Masam, favourite month of lord shri Krishna.
Margashirsha Maas or Margashira masam is the ninth month as per traditional Hindu calendar. It is believed as one of the auspicious months for Hindus. In Puranas, Margashirsh Maas is mentioned as ‘Maasonam Margashirshoham’ which means there is no auspicious month as Margashiram.
In 2009 Margasira Masam starts on November 17 and ends on December 16.Other important days in the month include Geeta Jayanthi.Margasira Month (comes during November/December) is the favorite month of Krishna (as said in BhagavadGita and other Puranic/ancient verses).
Margashirsh month is also mentioned in the Bhagwad Gita by Lord Sri Krishna. The below slokam tells about the significance and spiritual importance of margasheersha maas.
”Bruhatsama thatha samnam
Gayatri Chandasamaham
Masanam Margashoham
Ruthunam Kusumakarna” Bhagvat Geeta 10 chapter II 35 II
It means – Lord Krishna says “I, myself, stay in Bruhathsama in the Samaveda, Gayatri in Chandassu or literature, Margashirsha or Margashira in months and Vasant rithu in rithus or seasons”.
It is said that performing ritual bath in the Ganga River during Margashirsh month gives the result of ten million grahan snan.
Vishnu Puja during the month is highly auspicious. Lakshmi puja is observed on Thursday during margashira masam.
Vishnu Sahasranama parayana and visiting Vishnu temples in the month is most preferred deeds. The Vishnu Sahasranama is open to all; anyone can chant it without any distinction of caste, creed or sex. NOVEMBER 14TH CHILDREN'S DAY
Children are blessings Sent from above. Made from happiness Hope and Love. We love them from the start for this love comes from deep inside our heart. Sometimes there's pain, Sometimes there's sorrow, But remember they're our dreams of tomorrow. They are miracles Sent from God above to fill our world with lots of love. No matter a boy or a girl we will love them the same for "All Children" Are "Blessings" Only with Different Names.
November 14th is children's day so I wish to post CHILDREN’S
10 C0MMANDMENTS in my blog.
For those who celebrating children’s day every year .When will you stop celebrating children’s day and start celebrating the children” ask the great Tamil poet Abdhul Rahman. To understand the children’s world and their intensions, here are a few words they would like to communicate to us….
1. My hands are very small. If I throw a ball or draw a picture, it will not be up to your expectations. But still you must appreciate me. My legs are too small, walk slowly when you walk with me. I am also coming with you only, isn’t.
2. I have not seen the world as much as you have seen. Allow me to see the world myself and understand it. Don’t put bars for everything.
3. You will have work at home. But I will be a child only for a small period. Spare time to me; educate me on the details before I grow.
4. My infant heart is very soft. Don’t keep on scolding me. Handle me with gentleness as much as u can.
5. On your request to God, I am the gift to you, isn’t it? Handle me with responsibility. Lead me with patience.
6. I need your appreciation and love to grow and blossom. Encourage me. Point out my mistakes gently.
7. Give me time to understand my mistakes and correct myself. Give time to rectify my small mistakes.
8. I will do certain things though with struggles. Don’t decide that I can’t do it. Don’t compare me with my brothers and sisters or other children.
9. Take me to the place of prayers and to the places of service.
10. If you decide to punish me, think twice….think….Don’t use harsh words.
I love children because they give so much joy in life. I learn so much with them, I see the purity of a child, the sincerity, the joy and the innocence in their eyes. Children are unique.
children are a Gift Sent to us, To teach us. Guide us, and Remind us Innocence still exists. If ever you doubt Look into a child's eyes it will remind you the beauty of Life!!
Every child has been gifted by Almighty with immense potential and talents in different fields. Some realize their potential early and work on it, while some take time. Here lies the difference. Never underestimate a child and never discourage them.
Parents and teachers instead of focusing on drawbacks, if they concentrate on their talents (in whichever field it may be) and encourage & support them to excel in that particular field, none will remain backward in life.

WHAT DO WE BUILD IN OUR LIVES?
Once upon a time two brothers, who lived on adjoining farms, fell into conflict.
It was the first serious rift in 40 years of farming side by side, sharing machinery, and trading labor and goods as needed without a conflict. Then the long collaboration fell apart. It began with a small misunderstanding and it grew into a major difference, and finally it exploded into an exchange of bitter words followed by weeks of silence.
One morning there was a knock on John's door. He opened it to find a man with a carpenter's tool box."I'm looking for a few days' work" he said. "Perhaps you would have a few small jobs here and there I could help with? Could I help you?"
"Yes," said the older brother. "I do have a job for you.""Look across the creek at that farm. That's my neighbor; in fact, it's my younger brother. Last week there was a meadow between us and he took his bulldozer to the river levee and now there is a creek between us. Well, he may have done this to spite me, but I'll do him one better." "See that pile of lumber by the barn? I want you to build me a fence --an 8-foot fence -- so I won't need to see his place or his face anymore.
"The carpenter said, "I think I understand the situation. Show me the nails and the post-hole digger and I'll be able to do a job that pleases you."
The older brother had to go to town, so he helped the carpenter get the materials ready and then he was off for the day.
The carpenter worked hard all that day measuring, sawing, nailing. About sunset when the farmer returned, the carpenter had just finished his job.
The farmer's eyes opened wide, his jaw dropped. There was no fence there at all. It was a bridge -- a bridge stretching from one side of the creek to the other!
A fine piece of work, handrails and all -- and the neighbor, his younger brother, was coming toward them, his hand outstretched.
"You are quite a fellow to build this bridge after all I've said and done.
"The two brothers stood at each end of the bridge, and then they met in the middle, taking each other's hand.
They turned to see the carpenter hoist his toolbox onto his shoulder. "No, wait! Stay a few days. I've a lot of other projects for you," said the older brother.
"I'd love to stay on," the carpenter said, but I have many more bridges to build.
IMPORTANCE OF RAMAYANA
It is a railway station. Full of noise and chaos. Some came to board the train. Some to say Shubha-yaatra (Happy journey) to their loving ones. Some others came to say welcome to relative, friends. There were people selling things. Some workers busy in their duty. Like this everyone was busy with their work.
An old man heard from the announcement that the train which he was supposed to board is late by two hours. Immediately he sat on a small box, opened a book and started reading it. Seeing the cover of the book, anybody can say it is “ShrimadRaamaayanam”.
Two modern wife and husband, who also were to travel with the old man, got frustrated on knowing that the train was late. Because they had nothing to do, they started observing others. “Looks like this old fellow seems to like books a lot? He is reading it with great concentration” said the women. It’s Ramayanam. What is there in it? My grandpa used to give it to me to read. Using my brains, I used to escape him somehow” said the women. “Me too used to done the same. I never used to listen to my grandma”. They laughed mocking at the old man. The husband continued “What is there in these un-real stories. In this modern computer age, why do we need it? That is why our country is in still poor state”.
“Yes! This is the reason” said the wife. Then for sometime they worried about the backwardness of the country and the “slow” rate of development.
They then heard another announcement saying that their train is 1 more hour late. Anger and frustration of the couple increased. To pass time they went and got some snacks. They ate off the food items. After that they bought some magazines, turned over pages, threw them aside and said “Waste of money. There is nothing to read. Even if we read nothing to learn”.
The rush increased due to trains coming and going. The wife said “Hi” seeing somebody who got down from the train and started chatting with them.
Finally their train came. People who want to board are not letting people to get down and vice-versa. The train won’t stop for a long time in that station. That is the reason for the confusion. Finally whatever it may be, everyone boarded the train. The old man searched for his seat, sat and resumed reading the Ramayanam.
The husband’s seat was in the same cabin as the old man’s. He too reached, but was worried. He started searching. He tried to pull the chain. Some people asked why he was doing that? He replied that his wife, who came with him, didn’t board the train and since he was busy seeing if all luggages got in the train or not, he didn’t observe her properly. Then everyone advised him that there is no use pulling the train because the train traveled quite distance from the station. They also said he must plan out something after getting down at the next stop. Nothing to do, he sat down and started looking at the oldman.
The old man then said “all this while you criticized ShrimadRaamaayanam. You said why Ramayanam? ShrimadRaamaayanam teaches many things that need to be learnt. Many stories of relationship between brothers, friends are told here.
For example, when Shri Raama went to Aranya-vaasam, (forest) he took rest near the Raajyam of Guha, the mitra of Shri Raama. Next day Guha made the boat ready. First Shri Raama made Seetaa Maata board the boat. After she sat comfortably, then only He boarded the boat. If you had read Shrimad-Raamaayanam, then you also would have first made her board the train and only you would have thought about yourself.
In Shrimad-Raamaayanam there are many stories about ideal husband and wife, brother’s relation, Dharma, responsibilities of King Etc. There are indeed very relevant in today’s “modern” world too. You only said that modern books are of no much use. After “shrimad Ramayanam” many books came. But does anyone remember them? How many lakhs of years may have passed, people still read ShrimadRaamaayanam. Try to read it and know Dharma. If you dont like It, dont atleast make fun of it”.
Morals in the story:
The importance a Husband needs to give to his wife is well shown by Shri Raama. That is why; whoever marries still we write the Sita-Raama Kalyaana shlokam only in the invitation card.
Greatness of ShrimadRaamaayanam is shown in the story. It has many Dharmas; moral which are very relevant to the modern society too.
DON'T BLAME OTHERS
Our Indian culture is great. The rules it provides make everyone lead an ideal life. According to our shastras, it seems a person who blames others (unnecessarily) gets half of the entire sin of the person blamed and in addition gives away half of his entire good to the person blamed! So there a big loss for the person who blames and a big gain for the person blamed. The following is a small story showing how careful one needs to be while doing Dharma nirnayam (Judgment) and eventually blaming others.
Once a poor Brahman, with hunger, came to a person’s house and asked for food. The kind woman in the house took pity on him and immediately offered food. She asked the Brahman to sit under the shade of a huge tree in their house and she brought food for him. Before the Brahman cleaned himself, prayed to the God and started eating, a very unfortunate thing happened. There used to live a poisonous snake under the shelter of the tree and unfortunately it spilt its poison and it directly fell into the food the Brahman who was going to eat. The Brahman unknowing that the food is poisoned, ate food and died.
Now, who needs to be blamed? Is it the woman who gave the food, or the snake or the owner or the Brahman himself. It seems that the person who decides and makes a decision that a particular individual is to be blamed will get the accusation of killing the Brahman.
So did you notice how critical a Judge’s role is? How many shastras should he have learnt before taking the seat of Judgment? How careful and unbiased should his thinking be? Imagine how great is Yamadharmaraaja to be able to do perfect justice for so many people for such huge amount of time. That is why He is called ‘Samavarti’. He has one of his legs in Shri-chandanam (sandal) and the other in fire. Both are same for Him and thus very unbiased and impartial.
Morals in the story:
A lot of thinking needs to be done before putting blame on others.
A person should be highly knowledgeable and learned in order to be a Judge. That is why it is customary in our Indian culture to always say “As far as I know, this is Dharma….” or “This is what I heard from my elders, hence”.
Message:
At least on hearing to this story, we hope all the govt. officials will be still more careful in performing their duties. The pathetic state of today’s nyaayasthaanas (courts) is well-known. The power given to a nyaayaadhikaari (Judge) is immense. The story also shows how impartial, unbiased, honest and most importantly learned must the nyaayaadhikaris be (Judge). One may assume everything is going fine, but at sometime or the other one must experience the effects of his own karma.

TRUTHS OF APPRECIATION
My friend, Bob Danzig, has an amazing story. Simple words of appreciation and encouragement changed his life. Bob was in five foster homes during his youth, and said he spent his childhood trying to find someone to love and appreciate him.
When he was nine years old, he had a new social worker. He said after she had done all the paperwork to move him to yet another foster home, she sat him down, looked him directly in the eyes, and said, "Bobby, I want you to always remember these words: YOU ARE WORTHWHILE!
" Bob says that no one had ever said anything like that to him, and each time they met, she repeated those words. They became an affirmation of appreciation that he heard over and over again in his head.
Bob graduated at sixteen, not because he was smart, he says, but because he got mixed up in the system! He soon took a job at the Albany New York Times as a copy boy, and his very first boss was a woman named Margaret.
After he had worked there about six months, Margaret called him into her office one day and asked him to sit down. He thought for sure he was going to be fired! She looked him right in the eyes and said to him, "I have been the office manager for 15 years – I have been observing you – and I believe YOU ARE FULL OF PROMISE.
" Those words, on that day, gave him permission to aspire.
Those two positive messages of appreciation played over and over again in his head and ultimately gave him the courage to be the very best he could be. Sixteen years later he became the Publisher of the Albany New York Times, and seven years after that, he became CEO of Hearst Newspapers, one of the largest newspaper companies in the world-and he credits it all to those simple words of appreciation and love.
What a wonderful example of how little gifts of appreciation can make such a difference in a life!
Zig Ziglar had this to say: "You never know when a moment and a few sincere words can have an impact on a life."--Barbara Glanz
GOOD NEWS?BAD NEWS?WHO KNOWS?
The Chinese tell the story of an old man who owned a bony plow horse. One spring afternoon the horse ran away. The old man's friends, trying to console him, said, "We're so sorry about your horse, old man. What a misfortune you've had." But the old man said, "Bad news, good news-who knows?"
A few days later the horse returned home leading a herd of wild horses. Again the friends came running. Filled with jubilation, they cried, "How wonderful!" But the old man whispered, "Good news, bad news-who knows?
"Then the next day, when the farmer's son was trying to ride one of the new horses, the young man was thrown to the ground and broke both legs. The friends gasped. The old man stood still and said, "Bad news, good news-who knows?
"And a short time later when the village went to war and all the young men were drafted to fight, the farmer's son was excused because of two broken legs. Good news. Bad news. Who knows?
LESSONS FROM GEESE BY MILTON OLSON
1. As each bird flaps its wings, it creates an "uplift" for the bird following. By flying in a "V" formation, the whole flock adds 71% greater flying range than if the bird flew alone.
Moral: People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going quicker and easier because they are traveling on the thrust of one another.
2. Whenever a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of trying to fly alone, and quickly gets back into formation to take advantage of the "lifting" power of the bird immediately in front. Moral: If we have as much sense as a goose, we will stay in formation with those who are headed where we want to go (and be willing to accept their help as well as give ours to the others).
3. When the lead goose gets tired, it rotates back into the formation and another goose flies at the point position.
Moral: It pays to take turns doing the hard tasks and sharing leadership - with people, as with geese, we are interdependent with each other.
4. The geese in formation honk from behind to encourage those up front to keep up their speed.
Moral: We need to make sure our honking from behind is encouraging - not something else.
5. When a goose gets sick, wounded, or shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to help and protect it. They stay with it until it is able to fly again or dies. Then they launch out on their own, with another formation, or catch up with the flock.
Moral: If we have as much sense as geese we too will stand by each other in difficult times as well as when we are strong.
STEPS TOWARDS PEACE OF MIND
Peace of mind is not just something that comes to us when everything is going well. It is something that comes from a combination of many sources, and that can sustain us even when things are not going well. Even through tragedy.
1. ReservesNot necessarily the large reserves that we sometimes refer to in coaching (though those would be wonderful, too), but awareness that you are not going to run out of the minor things that can easily cause disruption in our lives, e.g. gas/petrol, postage stamps, toilet paper, essential food items.
2. ForgivenessKnow that you need not be full of anger, or nagging hostility, toward anyone, including yourself. Remember that we all do the best we can with what we believe we have. There are few people who harm others on purpose.
3. Acceptance... of self and of othersIn the same vein, know that the only person about whom you have the right to make decisions is yourself. Others will be what they will be, depending on their own combination of circumstances, genetic inheritance and choices. For yourself, know that your choices are and always will be your own. Don't berate yourself for your past, it is past. If you don't care for it, make the decisions necessary to create a different future.
4. Clear conscienceAct always as though someone else who you respect will know what you do. If you would not want others to know that you did something, then don't do it, for you (and quite likely someone or Someone else) WILL know.
5. SupportKnow where you can turn for support, for a shoulder to cry on, and for other forms of help when you need it. Know your friends, keep your fences mended, and keep a list of agencies and institutions to which you can turn if you must. Never let pride stop you from requesting help when you need it.
6. Surroundings that you can enjoyYour surroundings may not look like a magazine cover, but they can be kept sufficiently tidy, organized, and attractive that you feel pleasure as you look around you. We often think of surroundings as what we are aware of visually, but the other senses may be involved too. We may need music, or silence. We may choose to enjoy the scent of burning candles, or of baking, or of well polished furniture.
7. No undone have-tos, deadlines, overdue debtsThese will undermine peace of mind every time. Decide on a schedule to get rid of them. If you have to call on someone to keep you on schedule with this, enlist a friend, a family member, or even a coach. Just knowing that you are making progress will enhance your peace of mind. Catching up on these things will do so even more.
8. Know that you are connected to SomethingIf you are religiously or spiritually inclined, then you already know this. Even if you believe there is nothing beyond us except nature and the earth, then at least you know there is that. Know that you ARE connected. Trust that connection, and know that you DO belong.
9. Know that you are at choice, not a victimRecognize that you DO have choices. If you feel you do not, look again, and see that what you have previously dismissed as lack of choice is actually a choice that certain alternatives are unacceptable, or that you had not seen them in the first place. Reconsider your options. Brainstorm with someone you trust.
10. Knowledge that you can affect your world, that you need not be a pawn Sometimes it is difficult to imagine that any one person can change the world. We certainly need to change ourselves before we can change anything else, and even then we do not have the right to change other people. Yet the changes that we make in our own behavior, our willingness to reach out and help, volunteer, to try to make the world a better place, CAN be far-reaching. If every person reading this list were to reach out... Imagine.
Each man has a choice in life; he may approach it as a creator or critic, a lover or a hater, a giver or a taker, a liar or an earnest man. It is a matter of choice.
OUR HEALING PROCESS HELPS OUR FAMILY
If you're working on your own inner healing, you will function as an inspirational role model and will relieve the burden of everyone around you, especially your family members. Children, particularly, always pick up, energetically, their parents' problems, issues, or patterns and perpetuate them in their own lives. If the parent heals on the emotional level, he or she will pass that legacy on to the children, who will not have to deal with the same issues in their own lives.
This is true whether or not your children are grown. If you as a parent begin to deal with your own issues and learn to take better care of yourself, love yourself more, and do your own healing, even your grown children who live across the country or around the world will feel it on some level and will benefit from your process.
As I heal, my whole family is healing.
ON ATTITUDE
An optimist expects his dreams to come true; a pessimist expects his nightmares to." Laurence J. Peter
Sometimes the only thing we can change is our attitude--and that is enough. Our attitude can be much more important than the objective reality of the situation. One person who's stuck in traffic fumes at fate, snarling, "Why does this always happen to me?" Meanwhile, the person in the car just behind, stuck in the same impasse, sees the first person's "lost" time as "found" time -- the perfect opportunity to study a new language, meditate, or think through a problem without the interruption of a telephone call or visitors. One person sees only a problem and responds accordingly; the other sees an opportunity and likewise acts accordingly. The traffic jam is the same of both of them, but their attitudes about it are different --as are their blood pressures.
Some see the past as a cruel sentence of doom dispensed by an avenging God. Others see it as an opportunity, fairly given or not, to build strength and gain wisdom with the help of a loving God. The difference is all in the attitude.
EXAMINE YOUR SELF AND WATCH YOURSELF
One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big advice on the door on which it was written:
"Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym".
In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself.
The excitement in the gym was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room.
The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up. Everyone thought: "Who is this guy who was hindering my progress? Well,at least he died!".
One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside it they suddenly became speechless. They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul.
There was a mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside it could see himself.
There was also a sign next to the mirror that said:"There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth: it is YOU.
"You are the only person who can revolutionize your life.
You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realization and your success. You are the only person who can help yourself.Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your parents change, when your partner changes, when your company changes.
Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life.
"The most important relationship you can have, is the one you have with yourself"Examine yourself, watch yourself. Don't be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities and losses: be a winner, build yourself and your reality.
THE FIFTEEN INTERLUDES OF LIFE
1. Don't go for wealth - it can deceive;Don't be hung up on looks - they will fade away.Go for someone who makes you smile'cause only a smile makes a dark day bright.Have hope that you find that person who gets you smiling.
2. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy andenough money to buy gifts!!!
3. When one door of happiness closes, another opensbut often we look so long at the closed door thatwe don't see the one which has been opened for us.
4. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it,but it's also true that we don't know whatwe've been missing until it arrives.
5. Always put yourself in other's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you,no doubt it probably hurts the other person, too.
6. The beginning of love is to let those we love beperfectly themselves, and not to twist them with our own image -- otherwise, we love only the reflection ofourselves we find in them.
7. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrongpeople before meeting the right oneso that when we finally meet the right person,we should know how to be grateful for that gift.
8. It takes a minute to become infatuated with someone,an hour to like someone and a day to love someone -but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
9. Love is when you take away the feeling, thepassion, the romance and you find out you stilllove the person.
10. A sad thing about life is when you meetsomeone who means so much to you only to find outthat beloved one doesn't feel as you do, and you findyourself needing to choose between stayingand feeling hurt, or letting go.
11. Love starts with a smile, developswith a kiss and ends with either a tear or an eternal embrace.
12. Love comes to those who still hopeeven though they've been disappointed,to those who still believe, even thoughthey've been betrayed,to those who still love eventhough they've been deeply wounded before.
13. It hurts to love someone and not beloved in return, but what is the mostpainful is to love someone and neverfinding the courage to let theperson know how you feel.
14. There are things you love to hearbut you would never hear it from theperson whom you would like to hear it from, but don't be deaf to hear it from the personwho does say it to you with his heart.
15. When you were born, you were cryingand everyone around you was smiling - liveyour life so that when you die, you're smilingand everyone around you is crying ~ tearsof joy for having known you.
ANOTHER LOVE STORY
Another forward of love story. This one is also so good:
There was once this guy who is very much in love with his girl. This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl.
Although, at that time he was just a small fry in his company, his future didn't seem too bright, they were very happy together. Until one day, his girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualize any future for the both of them, so they went their own ways there and then.
Heartbroken, the guy agreed. But when he regained his confidence, he worked hard day and night, slogging his body and mind just to make something out of himself.
Finally with all the hard work and the help of friends, this guy had set up his own company .
You never fail until you stop trying. One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain walk ing to some destination. Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched. It didn't take him long to realize they were his girl's parents.
With a heart in getting back at them, he drove slowly beside the couple, wanting them to spot him in his luxury sedan. He wanted them to know that he wasn't the same any more; he had his own company, car, condo, etc. He made it! What he saw next confused him, the couple was walking towards a cemetery, and so he got out of his car and followed...and he saw his girl, a photograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him from her tombstone and he saw his paper cranes right beside her.
Her parents saw him. He asked them why this had happened. They explained, she did not leave for France at all. She was ill with cancer. She had believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want to be his obstacle... therefore she had chosen to leave him.
Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. She had wanted her parents to put his paper cranes beside her, because, if the day comes when fate brings him to her again he can take some of those back with him.
Once you have loved, you will always love. For what's in your mind may escape but what's in your heart will remain forever. The guy just wept.
The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside her knowing you can't have her, see her or be with her ever again.
Hope you understand.Find time to realize that there is one person who means so much to you, for you might wake up one morning losing that person who you thought meant nothing to you.
ADD THE GOD PRINCIPLE IN OUR DAILY LIVES
The source of this inspiring story from India is shrouded in antiquity. Origins unknown.
(In the olden days when there were no motor cars, people used to travel on horseback.)
One rich man owned 19 horses when he died. In his last will and teastament he had written that upon his death, half the horses he owned should go to his only son; one fourth to the village temple and one fifth to the faithful servant.
The village elders could not stop scratching their heads. How can they give half of the 19 horses to the son? You cannot cut up a horse. They puzzled over this dilemma for more than two weeks and then decided to send for a wise man who was living in a neighbouring village.
The wise man came riding on his horse and asked the villagers if he can be of any help to them. The village elders told him about the rich man's last will and testament which stated that half of the (19) horses must be given to his only son, one fourth must go to the temple and one fifth to the faithful servant.
The wise man said he will immediately solve their problem without any delay whatsoever. He had the 19 horses placed in a row standing next to one another. Then he added his own horse as the 20th horse. Now he went about giving half of the 20 horses – that is ten horses to the son. One fourth of 20- that is 5 horses were given to the temple committee. One fifth of twenty- that is 4 horses were given to the faithful servant. Ten plus five plus four made 19 horses. The remaining 20th horse was his own which he promptly mounted, spoke a few inspiring words, and rode back home.
The villagers were simply dumfounded, full of disbelief and filled with admiration. And the parting words of the wise man were inscribed in their hearts and minds which they greatly cherished and passed on to their succeeding generations till today.
The wise man said: In our daily lives, in our daily affairs, simply add God’s name and then go about facing the day’s happenings. Ever come across problems in life that are seemingly insurmountable? (Like the villagers, do we feel that such problems cannot be solved?).
The wise man continued: Add the God Principle in our daily lives and the problems will become lighter and eventually will disappear. In the manner of the ice which, with the addition of the heat principle will turn into water, and that will eventually evaporate as steam and disappear. And how do we add God’s name (God principle) in our daily lives? Through prayers, filled with true love and devotion with sincerity of purpose and dedication that only total faith can bring about. Meditation is a powerful means of directing the mind Godward.
But without true love and devotion entering into it, it remains like a boat without water. It is not difficult to push a boat that is floating in water, but extremely hard to drag the same boat on dry land. In the same way, if our life’s boat floats on the waters of true love and devotion, we can sail easily in it. The principle of love of God and devotion with total faith, (like water) makes easy the voyage of our lives. When the mind is pure and the heart full of simplicity and holiness, such a devotee becomes an instrument in the service of the Lord.

THINGS AREN'T ALWAYS WHAT THEY SEEM
Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead the angels were given a space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied... "Things aren't always what they seem". The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel "how could you have let this happen!? The first man had everything, yet you helped him," she accused. "The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let their cow die."
"Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied. "When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall.Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it. Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave her the cow instead. Things aren't always what they seem."
Sometimes this is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way they should. If you have faith, you just need to trust that every outcome is always to your advantage. You might not know it until some time later.

LIFE IS A GIFT
Today before you think of saying an unkind word – Think of someone who can’t speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food – Think of someone who has nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your husband or wife – Think of someone ho’s crying out for a companion.
Today before you complain about life – Think of someone who went too early to heaven/hell.
Before you complain about your children – Think of someone who desires children but they’re barren.
Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn’t clean or sweep – Think of the people who are living in the streets.
Before whining about the distance you drive – Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job – Think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job.
But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another – Remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker.
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down – Put a smile on your face and thank — you’re alive and still around
Life is a gift – Live it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it, And Fulfill it.
I HAVE LEARNED
I’ve learned-that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them.
I’ve learned-that no matter how much I care, some people just don’t care back.
I’ve learned-that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.
I’ve learned-that no matter how good a friend is, they’re going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
I’ve learned-that it’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts.
I’ve learned-that you should never ruin an apology with an excuse.
I’ve learned-that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you’d better know something.
I’ve learned-that you shouldn’t compare yourself to the best others can do.
I’ve learned-that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.
I’ve learned-that it’s taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.
I’ve learned-that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
I’ve learned-that you can keep going long after you can’t.
I’ve learned-that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
I’ve learned-that either you control your attitude or it controls you.
I’ve learned-that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take its place.
I’ve learned-that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.
I’ve learned-that money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I’ve learned-that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.
I’ve learned-that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you’re down will be the ones to help you get back up.
I’ve learned-that sometimes when I’m angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn’t give me the right to be cruel.
I’ve learned-that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.
I’ve learned-that just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have.
I’ve learned-that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had and what you’ve learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated.
I’ve learned-that you should never tell a child their dreams are unlikely or outlandish. Few things are more humiliating, and what a tragedy it would be if they believed it.
I’ve learned-that your family won’t always be there for you. It may seem funny, but people you aren’t related to can take care of you and love you and teach you to trust people again. Families aren’t biological.
I’ve learned-that it isn’t always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you are to learn to forgive yourself.
I’ve learned-that no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn’t stop for your grief.
I’ve learned-that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.
I’ve learned-that a rich person is not the one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.
I’ve learned-that just because two people argue, it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. And just because they don’t argue, it doesn’t mean they do.
I’ve learned-that we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends change.
I’ve learned-that you shouldn’t be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.
I’ve learned-that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.
I’ve learned-that no matter how you try to protect your children, they will eventually get hurt and you will hurt in the process.
I’ve learned-that even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.
I’ve learned-that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.
I’ve learned-that the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.
I’ve learned-that it’s hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting people’s feelings, and standing up for what you believe.
I’ve learned-that people will forget what you said, and people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
LIFE
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become.
You never know who these people may be – a roommate, a neighbor, a professor, a friend, a lover, or even a complete stranger – but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound way.
Sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart.
Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved straight flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.
The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are sometimes the most important ones.
If someone loves you, give love back to them in whatever way you can, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things.
If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart.
Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and listen to what they have to say.
Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don’t believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you.
You can make anything you wish of your life. Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.
And if you love someone tell them, for you never know what tomorrow may have in store.
Learn a lesson in life each day that you live!
Today is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday.
Think About it? Was it worth it?
ENJOY YOUR LIFE AT EVERY MOMENT
Once a fisherman was sitting near seashore, under the shadow of a tree smoking his beedi. Suddenly a rich businessman passing by approached him and enquired as to why he was sitting under a tree smoking and not working. To this the poor fisherman replied that he had caught enough fishes for the day.
Hearing this the rich man got angry and said: Why don’t you catch more fishes instead of sitting in shadow wasting your time?Fisherman asked: What would I do by catching more fishes?Businessman: You could catch more fishes, sell them and earn more money, and buy a bigger boat.Fisherman: What would I do then?Businessman: You could go fishing in deep waters and catch even more fishes and earn even more money.Fisherman: What would I do then?Businessman: You could buy many boats and employ many people to work for you and earn even more money.Fisherman: What would I do then?Businessman: You could become a rich businessman like me.Fisherman: What would I do then?Businessman: You could then enjoy your life peacefully.Fisherman: What do you think I’m doing right now?
MORAL – You don’t need to wait for tomorrow to be happy and enjoy your life. You don’t even need to be more rich, more powerful to enjoy life. LIFE is at this moment, enjoy it fully.
As some great men have said “My riches consist not in extent of my possessions but in the fewness of my wants”.
GREAT MARRIAGE STORY
My husband is an Engineer by profession, I love him for his steady nature, and I love the warm feeling when I lean against his broad shoulders.
Three years of courtship and now, two years into marriage, I would have to admit, that I am getting tired of it. The reasons of me loving him before, has now transformed into the cause of all my restlessness.
I am a sentimental woman and extremely sensitive when it comes to a relationship and my feelings, I yearn for the romantic moments, like a little girl yearning for candy. My husband, is my complete opposite, his lack of sensitivity, and the inability of bringing romantic moments into our marriage has disheartened me about love.
One day, I finally decided to tell him my decision, that I wanted a divorce.
“Why?” he asked, shocked. “I am tired, there are no reasons for everything in the world!” I answered. He kept silent the whole night, seems to be in deep thought with a lighted cigarette at all times. My feeling of disappointment only increased, here was a man who can’t even express his predicament, what else can I hope from him? And finally he asked me:” What can I do to change your mind?”
Somebody said it right, it’s hard to change a person’s personality, and I guess, I have started losing faith in him. Looking deep into his eyes I slowly answered : “Here is the question, if you can answer and convince my heart, I will change my mind, Let’s say, I want a flower located on the face of a mountain cliff, and we both are sure that picking the flower will cause your death, will you do it for me?” He said :” I will give you your answer tomorrow….” My hopes just sank by listening to his response.
I woke up the next morning to find him gone, and saw a piece of paper with his scratchy handwriting, underneath a milk glass, on the dining table near the front door, that goes…. My dear, “I would not pick that flower for you, but please allow me to explain the reasons further..” This first line was already breaking my heart. I continued reading.
You like to stay indoors, and I worry that you will be infected by infantile autism. I have to save my mouth to tell you jokes and stories to cure your boredom. You always stare at the computer, and that will do nothing good for your eyes, I have to save my eyes so that when we grow old, I can help to clip your nails, and help to remove those annoying white hairs. So I can also hold your hand while strolling down the beach, as you enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful sand… and tell you the color of flowers, just like the color of the glow on your young face… Thus, my dear, unless I am sure that there is someone who loves you more than I do… I could not pick that flower yet, and die.. ”
My tears fell on the letter, and blurred the ink of his handwriting… and as I continue on reading… “Now, that you have finished reading my answer, if you are satisfied, please open the front door for I am standing outside bringing your favorite bread and fresh milk… I rush to pull open the door, and saw his anxious face, clutching tightly with his hands, the milk bottle and loaf of bread….
Now I am very sure that no one will ever love me as much as he does, and I have decided to leave the flower alone…
That’s life, and love. When one is surrounded by love, the feeling of excitement fades away, and one tends to ignore the true love that lies in between the peace and dullness.
Love shows up in all forms, even very small and cheeky forms, it has never been a model, it could be the most dull and boring form.. . flowers, and romantic moments are only used and appear on the surface of the relationship. Under all this, the pillar of true love stands… and that’s our life… Love, not words win arguments…

“DO ANKHEN BARAH HAATH”
A great composition by vasant desai an excellent and unforgettable evergreen song to be remembered for ever by all generation. I use to sing this in school assembly prayers. Old memories. Precious wordings. Every stanza is golden and pierces our heart!
This all time great and delightful song is from the movie “DO ANKHEN BARAH HAATH”.The song is a very inspiring song. The song is the best ever made on humanistic ideals. When I feel, I am in the throes of despair,I resort myself to this song and there is a surge of upliftment in my spirits.
This song says “Hey great god, we are your kid, plz be kind to us and always put us on the right track of kindness, honesty. And we shall always remember you, so that we can live a happy and meaningful life. Life is tough and it has lots of gloom and darkness, but I am sure you are with me, and I will never follow the wrong path, no matter how difficult things become for me.
Aye maalik tere ba.nde ham
Oh Lord, we are your people/devotees/servants
aise ho hamaare karam nekii par chale.n aur badii se Tale.n
Let our deeds be such We walk on the good path and shunning the evil
taaki ha.nsate huye nikale dam
So that the final breath can be taken with a smile.

3rd stanza
ye a.ndheraa ghanaa chhaa rahaa
Pitch darkness is setting in,
teraa inasaan ghabaraa rahaa
Mankind is in turmoil and agitation
ho rahaa bekhabar, kuchh na aataa nazar
In a diminishing state of consciousness, nothing is visible
sukh kaa suuraj chhipaa jaa rahaa
The sun of comfort is disappearing
hai terii roshanii me.n vo dam
The energy of Your light, which is so powerful
jo amaavas ko kar de puunam
can brighten up a moonless night in to moonful night
