BALANCE

This simple teaching carries a powerful truth.
Most of the suffering in life doesn’t come from the things themselves, but from our relationship with them. Too much of anything — even something good — becomes harmful.

Power becomes poison when it turns into control.
Comfort becomes poison when it turns into laziness.
Food becomes poison when it turns into indulgence.
Ego becomes poison when it blinds you to truth.
Ambition becomes poison when it destroys your peace.
Vanity becomes poison when you forget humility.
Fear becomes poison when it stops your growth.
Anger becomes poison when you hold it too long.
Buddhism teaches the Middle Way — balance in all things.
Not too much, not too little.
Not suppressing, not overindulging.
Just the right measure that keeps the mind steady, the heart open, and life in harmony.

Poison is not always a substance.
Sometimes it is a habit, an attachment, or a mindset.
Wisdom is knowing when enough is enough.

Balance is the real cure.
