Ilike and love the ghazals of Jagjit Singh,the Ghazal King has deeply touched my soul & heart through his ghazals.
He explains reality of life, love, spirituality and emotions in his

I like anything that has soul stirring lyrical values, words move me. I can listen to a melodious voice reciting words that pierce soul.Ghazals by the indisputable Ghazal King, Jagjit Singh.

He is awesome his amazing voice blows me away every time I listen to him. The range of emotions he flaunts in his ghazals are unmatchable. Listening to his tracks invoke all sorts of emotions in you. Here is one elegant ghazal from the album I have been listening.

DO AUR DO KA JOD HAMESH CHAR KAHAN HOTA HAI

FIR MURAT SE BAHAR AAKAR CHARON ORE BIKHAR JA
FIR MANDIR KO KOI MEERA DEWANI DE MAULA

TERE HOTE KOI KISI KI JAAN KA DUSHMAN KYUN HO
JEENE WALON KO MARNE KI AASANI DE MAULA

TRANSLATION:

OH GOD! GIVE LOT OF WATER TO THE THIRSTY EARTH
FOOD TO BIRDS AND WISDOM TO CHILDREN

EVERY TIME TWO AND TWO DOES NOT MAKE FOUR
GIVE LITTLE IMMATURITY TO MATURED PEOPLE

COME OUT OF STATU AGAIN, AND BE ALL AROUND
GIVE CRAZY MEERA TO THE TEMPLE AGAIN

NO ONE SHOULD BE ENEMY OF ANYBODY, WHEN U R HERE
GIVE EASYNESS OF DIEING TO ALL LIVING BEINGS
